The Via Lattea is the largest district of western Italy with 400 km of slopes and extends from Sauze d'Oulx to the French resort Mongenèvre. Cesana (1354 meters) is the lowest point from which the plants start, which come up to Mount Motta (2800m), in the Sestriere. The slopes of our area have hosted major sporting events like the Winter Olympics skiing in 2006. For those who prefer more peaceful activities, just a 30 minute drive, you can browse in the shops of the medieval town of Briancon and, a little further, to Serre Chevalier, will present you a few hours of total relaxation in the spa Monetier Les Bains, with the spectacular heated outdoor pool surrounded by snow! The spa, as the pool of Briancon, are also highly popular destinations during the summer. Moreover, in the warmer months, you can walk through beautiful forests, venture into the beautiful Valle Argentera, the Black Lake, one of the seven colors and many more.
During this time, for the more adventurous, it is forbidden not to experience the thrill of walking the world's longest rope bridge, suspended for 468 meters, or tackle the rapids with a rafting instructor. Impossible not to have fun with airsoft, a “capture the flag” where You will be armed with air guns and camouflage.
Ask our staff, we are sure will recommend You the best! You will be spoiled for choice ... one more reason to return to Cesana!
